The next section of the story (EQ #25) takes place probably 2-5 years later. We see Crescent get captured and killed by humans while she is fishing. (It is a tear-jerking issue.) She does appear in the Dreamtime series, in the issue for Moonshade and Strongbow, but you merely see her birth and death in a symbolic manner.
